Book 1: The Twelve Dancing Princesses
A sumptuously illustrated adaptation of the beloved fairy tale classic follows the efforts of a disheveled soldier to solve the mystery behind why the king's 12 daughters wake up each morning with their slippers worn to pieces.

Book 2: The Snow Queen
An exquisitely illustrated retelling of the classic story by Hans Christian Anderson. An evil troll creates a mirror which reflects the bad and ugly sides of people. Shards of its glass enter a young boy, causing him to reject his loving family and best friend Gerda. Helped by kind strangers and guided by her warm heart, Gerda makes the perilous journey to rescue her friend from the icy palace of the Snow Queen.

Both books include a CD narration of the story which is excellent for use in vehicles. 64 pages length.

Both books illustrated by - Miss Clara & published by Barefoot Books Ltd.
Miss Clara is an artist who creates enchanting and mysterious worlds. She builds miniature maquettes of princesses, hobgoblins, fairies and other magical characters out of paper, and detailed scenes in which to photograph them. She adds clever details to the final images digitally. Miss Clara lives in Bordeaux, France.

Some items require you to arrange directly with our generous donors and contact info will be provided to the winning bidder. We ask that you still attend pickup night to obtain the voucher and provide payment.

About St Patrick's & St Columban Catholic Schools

Our school communities of Grade JK-8 have grown again this year and our combined school community consists of over 274 students. We have 35 staff members who take pride in ensuring that every student is learning in a safe and healthy environment.

This is our first online auction and is our only fundraiser for the 2023-2024 school year. Your support will help us provide both St. Patrick's and St. Columban Schools with fun outdoor play equipment including accessible swings to ensure all students can have fun and enjoy their recess throughout their busy school day.
